[Out of habit, Jun will smile politely at the camera. Internally though, he's bracing for something freaky to show up in the photo. Surely something church related or something proving there's something freaky. But it's important to know more right? So he'll reach out and take the photo to have a look-]

[He sounds surprised by what he sees. He stares at it a moment before showing it to August. It's....a photo of completely normal students hanging out in front of a school. Other than Jun's green hair, there is nothing weird about the image. ]
[Jun will take this photo, glance at it, and immediately show August. It's the same group of kids, this time sitting at a lunch table in a cafeteria as they eat lunch. You can see Jun's face in this one and he looks like how Jun usually looks when he's happy. He's even got a packed lunch that looks like the ones Jun would make, albeit it's more basic in both foods and presentation than what Jun usually makes these days.
But all in all? You couldn't find a photo more normal.]
[He'll take the camera from August, taking a moment to adjust his hands and figure out how to take a photo- it's not like uses polaroid cameras all that much! But he gets it soon enough]
[And the photo is of August (with white hair??) draped over another guy in an RV, with a different (also white-haired but alarmingly pale) guy and a person with green curly hair at a table. August and Pale Guy seem to be talking about god knows what, Julian is perched on the other guy's shoulder, Green Hair is so obviously Done With This Shit, and there is a weird robotic cat on the table.

August is older than him, they've only known each other a few years-- and most of the time Jun was keeping him at arms length. Hell even now he still struggles with it. So of course it's completely understandable that August would view someone else as his best friend.
However despite all that logic, there is still a part of Jun's emotions that are much closer to this. An impulse he is doing his VERY BEST to quash.]
Well....maybe in that other life, you decided to take things to the, um...next level?
Do not ask how long I've liked him, it is disgusting. [At least he's honest.] And no, being my other best friend does not give you teasing me about that rights, before you ask. You get kinkshaming rights, not tease me about my crush rights.
