This is August. Leave a message and I'll get back to you. Unless you're a jackass who decided to track down my personal info instead of using the business number, in which case fuck you.
[He won't send a photo over the phone. Rather, August will get a mental image of a small cross shaped mark on his upper arm- it's either been burned or tattooed into the skin, it's hard to tell. The image shifts after a moment, showing Jun touching the mark and it now glowing at a larger size]
all I know is a monk got pissed at the pope and then the royals realized that hey, if they weren't Catholic they could get more taxes and then everything with Mary I of England and Elizabeth I of England and after that I told the teacher I really didn't care could I do my paper on something actually interesting
[Jun starts typing without really thinking about it]
Martin Luther. He and many others had a lot of criticisms towards church mandates and corruption in the papacy. He wrote up these criticisms in a list with 95 points, and nailed it to the church door- triggering the reformation.
The Reformation actually came to England during Henry VII's rule. He wanted to divorce his Catholic wife but the Pope wouldn't let him, so he started the Church of England that he led. He'd go on to have five more wives, and Mary I and Elizabeth I were his daughters who had differing views on the religious direction their country should take.

If you don't have it, I can probably rule out the idea it came from the gate. But that means I'm back to square one to what it is.

[...]
I don't want to explain Christianity to Amal.
no subject
god how do you even explain Christianity to people who aren't from here esp because like
explaining it sounds supernatural!! but 99% of the world don't believe in the supernatural! unless it involves God! but only in the past!!

Yeah I have no idea. I imagine it'd be easier to explain the plot of the Nation Souls series to someone whose never played than explaining all that.
[You know, the game with the disney crossovers you can guess which]

at least NS is all one thing and you might be okay with just Catholicism. but try explaining the Reformation and THAT fuckery

I barely know what went on with the Reformation myself so I'll pass on that.
